The risk or severity of QTc prolongation can be increased when Tizanidine is combined with Sulfamethoxazole.

Drug1 (rxcui = 313413, name = tizanidine 4 MG Oral Tablet, tty = SCD). Drug2 (rxcui = 849580, name = sulfamethoxazole 800 MG / trimethoprim 160 MG Oral Tablet [Bactrim], tty = SBD). Drug1 is resolved to sulfamethoxazole, Drug2 is resolved to tizanidine and interaction asserted in DrugBank between Sulfamethoxazole and Tizanidine.
